In the following opinion piece we assume the market is following its 4 year cycle, and that we currently in the early phases of the bull-run.

Interesting question, right. The short answer is no (2025/26 Bull run is still on), but this of course depends on your investment goals and your target profits. In the short term, there is still some room for profits to made in the crypto markets, however these are likely to be small gains, especially in the large market cap of digital assets like Bitcoin (that is, digital assets with market cap of over $10 Billion) . In the large market cap assets we anticipate on average a minimum of 30% to be made in profits for this cycle, a higher return compared to the average returns on traditional stocks. Inline with this hypothesis, we expect higher profits to made in the mid and low market cap, however, these come with more added risks. If one is not careful here they could become exit liquidity; you might end up holding unsellable useless tokens/coins.

• Mid market cap (2-10 Billion) minimum case: 70%
• low market cap (below 2-Billion) minimum case: 100%

Based on these projections, we see that the percentage of profits to made increases whilst the market cap drops, this is expected as most digital projects on low caps are either meme coins (most people gamble here and there is a lot of scams and rug pulls in these projects) or new projects (unkwown) with a higher risk of failing and rug pulls.

We have intentional left the maximum case for profits to made open for everyone to speculate.

For individuals with a long term goal, the current stage of the cycle shouldn’t be a concern at the moment. At this stage one should be thinking about researching projects to invest in using multiple sources, see our beginner portfolio.
