We just had a crypto flash crash, and many if not all of us are wondering what to do. If this includes you, then this short writing is for you. In the following we give our opinion as to what we are doing and what we expect going onwards. The flash crash signifies the beginning of the bull run.

Our response to the flash crash has two parallels: on the one hand we consider our investments with long time horizons and on the other hand we consider short term positions.

Long term positions

In our long term positions (projects with Real World Applications) we keep things simple and maintain our dollar cost averaging (DCA) strategy, in fact, the flash crash has no impact at all. So, do nothing and ignore the news. Don’t panic sell now, the market will self correct, remember we are on the cusp of a bull run. This is the time you need diamond hands on all your projects, the weak hands will fold and become exit liquidity in the height of the bull run. JUST HODL.

Short term positions

If you have short term plays (Meme coins etc), this is an opportunity to use your spare cash and load up (Increase your holdings), remember not all projects are created equally, diversify. Revisit your research notes on short term projects, and check if you still have the same convictions on them. Take position, before the crypto market self corrects. lastly but not least, don’t use your emergency funds. You don’t want to find yourself selling your crypto at a loss just to cover some emergencies.

Expectations

Going forward, we expect to see similar flash crashes but small as people take profits. Don’t forget to take your profits. We also anticipate the bull run to last till January 2026 and then followed by a cool off period before the final run around May 2026.
